I mean, Stephen is always going to be a Favorite Human of mine, and one more reason is because he totally adores another Favorite Human, Sir Ken, my long-suffering Shakespeare husband. Stephen also cements my constant love by being one of the few prominent Americans who says Ken's damn last name correctly (I've heard BRA-nah too many times, but he's not a woman's undergarment, folks, he's BRAN-nuh, like the cereal). But Stephen, being adorably imperfect, bemuses me with a lesser sin by saying "Henry Five" like it's some 90s ska band title (Stephen, come on, it's Henry THE FIFTH, or in my secret headcanon idiolect, Henry VEE at the very least, buddy, I LOVE you, get it right next time, you cuddly clotpole). *SIGH* *SIR KEN SQUEE*
All my pedantic crap aside, these two are having an actual honest-to-god genuine bona fide grown-up conversation about history and it is so goddamn refreshing to see and I wish this clip lasted all day.
